JT 01- Between the Desert and Zin Valley, a Tour to the Earth Center.
One day trip to Makhtesh Ramon and Negev Mountain (no walking). This tour combines three desert climate zones:
JT02- Along Israel National Trail
One day trip, half jeep half hiking (2-3 hours). This geological journey begins in the dolomite rock on the edge of the Ramon Crater, 900 meters above sea level, and continues while crossing geological layers, laid one top of another like gigantic pages of our planet history book. We will drive and walk on a part of the famous Israeli National Trail, a trail that in recent year became notorious for its diverse views.
JT03- The Colors of Ardon Valley
One day trip, half jeep half hiking (3-4 hours). This trip acquaints us with the colorful world of the sandstone and clay rock of the Ramon Crater, with breathtaking genesis views revealed from the top of Ardon Mountain. The richness of the soil exhibits in the old water holes and deserted quarries, used as an income source in ancient times. Climbing towards the top, we’ll arrive at the coral reef of the ancient Titus Sea, experiencing opposing worlds: the desert and the sea.
JT04- Following the Man in the Desert, a historical Journey to Ancient Desert
Cultures in Negev Mountain and Zin Valley.
One day trip, half jeep half hiking (2 ½ hours walk). The center of the Negev Desert, with its fascinating landscape, was inhabitant 2000 years ago by thousands of people. The achievements of these ancient inhabitants have yet to be recreated, even in today’s modern, technological world. In this fascinating trip we will be acquainted with the multi-generation humane settlement in the Negev and learn how they turned an arid area into a flourishing agricultural community, exporting products to Ancient Rome! We will also learn about the lives of the desert nomads, the Bedouin, a tribal community still residing in the desert, maintaining their ancestors traditions and knowledge passed through generations.
JT05- Following the Desert Owners, the Nabataea Spice Rout
The Frankincense, also called olibanum, and the Myrrh are aromatic scents used in ancient times as incense in worship, essential oils and perfumes, and were the secret of the Nabataea community wealth. In order to guard and be the sole traders of this precious merchandise, brought from Yemen to the Middle East, the Nabataea chose a deadly desert route, possible due to their knowledge of desert survival. In this trip, we will follow their trails in part of the word, declared at as UNSECO world heritage site.
JT-06- Following the Exodus from Egypt towards Mount Sinai
Day trip to Karkom Mountain. The famous historical tale takes an interesting new turn: the mysterious Sinai Mountain, which was never officially found and declared, is now a drive away. Crossing the desert, the road leads us through the great wilderness of the Paran Desert, an ancient name of what today is the known as the Arava Desert, ending at Karkom Mountain, which many believe is actually the Sinai mountain, where the Torah was given from God to the prophet Moses. We will hike the mountain using various biblical notations and experience the link between the geography and the bible, realizing the source of the mountain sanctity.

JT07- Ramon Mountain
Day trip to Ramon Mountain (Jeep and 5-6 hours walk). From the peaks of the Negev Mountains to the bottom of the Ramon Crater.
JT08- Marvelous Marl
Day trip to Zin Valley (Jeep and 5-6 hours walk). The marvelous marl, an arid and gleaming scenery, dotted with small desert oasis, is the magic of this tour.
